EARLY BIRD ASHTANGA INFLUENCE: A Unique style of class that blends the strength and focus of Ashtanga with the more lyrical qualities of Vinyassa flow. This class offers a full mind-body connection of movement and breath. Awaken to the inner journey of yoga as we find the work on the mat and meet ourselves at the edge of our challenge!
YOGA FUNDAMENTALS: Gentle flow, breath work, meditation and traditional postures are enjoyed with encouragement for all students from first timers to seasoned yogis!
Careful attention is paid to proper alignment and safe movement mechanics. Emphasis on strengthening the body and mind!
FLOW: A delicious flow of traditional yoga asana ( posture) linking movement with breath to develop strength and flexibility. Proper body alignment and balance are a focal point. Students learn their yoga practice as we bring mind, body and spirit into balance.
RESTORATIVE YOGA: Supported by bolsters and blocks, you will experience a deeply relaxing practice that promotes healing and relieves stress and anxiety. Falling asleep in Restorative Yoga is common and completely acceptable.
Gentle/Beginner Yoga Whether you are new to yoga or are familiar with the practice, Gentle/Beginner yoga will help you develop balance, strength and flexibility without feeling overwhelmed or confused. In this class we will take our time to get into postures focusing on the basics. We will combine Hatha yoga postures and breathing exercises to strengthen the body, reduce stress and calm the mind. No yoga experience is required.
Restorative & Yoga Nidra Take time to reconnect and feel grounded at the end of the week, in this rejuvenating and relaxing class! Soak in an array of gentle restoring yoga asanas and a guided meditation called Yoga Nidra. Restorative yoga is a practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. ... During the long holds of restorative yoga, however, your muscles are allowed to relax deeply. It's a unique feeling because props, rather than your muscles, are used to support your body. To complete this class, you will be guided through Yoga Nidra which induces complete physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Students of all experience levels are welcome.
Moving Meditation is suitable for all levels of experience from beginner to intermediate to advance. Moving Meditation is a unique mixture of Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin and Meditation encouraging students to move consciously, connecting each movement with their breathe as well as including restful restorative poses. Moving Meditation is a comprehensive yoga practice, that will guide you to look within and listen to your body. Through proper guidance and meditation you will learn how to release stress, reduce anxiety and calm the mind, and moving into a space of healing, self love and balance. Each class finishes with a 10-15 minute guided meditation.
